In most cases the first sign of a moth infestation will be holes in clothing and furniture fabrics, however other signs that may be noticeable are the remains of moth pupae or cases where moths have flown, moth caterpillars/larvae crawling amongst fabrics or even grown moths flying or crawling around the house.

Of the four common moths found around the home, 3 cause the most damage to textiles; the common clothes moth, case bearing clothes moth and brown house moth. They vary in appearance and habit however all of these can be treated using the ServiceCare Heat Treatment method.

Other pests capable of creating textile damage are the carpet beetle and fur beetle - these are also effectively treated by ServiceCare.
