Depending on the situation items can either be treated in situ or removed to our secure storage facility and treated off-site.
The method used in either case is essentially the same. We utilise a patented heat treatment system which involves enveloping items in a thermal capsule and applying hot air for a period of time until all the heat has circulated throughout the items and thus neutralising the pests. The temperature required to treat moth infestations (that is, moths, their eggs and larvae) is relatively low (approx 60 degrees). Because of this we are able to treat even very delicate items.
We do not use any unpleasant chemicals or gases (several pest control companies illegally use methyl bromide gas which is very damaging to the ozone layer) to affect your items, only electricity.
